We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our expanding tax department. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone looking to start their career in public accounting with a strong foundation in taxation, client service, and personal development. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corps, C corps, trusts, and non-profits

• Assist with tax planning and research projects for a diverse client base

• Work closely with seniors and managers to address client needs and deliver accurate and timely tax filings

• Stay up-to-date on tax laws and apply knowledge to real-world client situations

• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and build lasting relationships

• Participate in training and development opportunities to continue growing your skillset

Essential Skills:

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Tech-savvy and comfortable using tools like Excel, QuickBooks, PDF editors, tax software, and Office 365

• Able to manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Self-motivated and receptive to feedback, with a desire to grow personally and professionally

• Collaborative and adaptable in a team-focused, fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 0–1 year of relevant experience (internships or co-ops welcome)

• CPA eligibility or progress toward certification preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary starting at $60,000+ bonus (commensurate with experience)
