Tax Season Internship

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Intern to join our team for the upcoming tax season. This is a paid internship offering hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment. The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in accounting or a related field and is eager to gain practical experience in tax preparation and client service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of individual and business tax returns
• Organize and input client data into tax software
• Perform basic tax research and documentation
• Support the team with administrative tasks related to tax filings
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Basic understanding of tax concepts and accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior internship or office experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule & Compensation

• Flexible schedule between 32–40 hours per week
• Hourly rate: $20/hour
• Internship duration: Mid-January–April 2026
