Abe Aly is a seasoned accounting professional with over a decade of experience providing audit and assurance services to nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and affordable housing entities. He is a Partner in the Audit practice at Nash CPAs LLC, where he brings a practical, mission-driven approach to client service.
Abe’s career spans national, midsize, and boutique CPA firms, giving him a comprehensive view of client needs across different organizational sizes and sectors. He has developed deep expertise in supporting regulated and community-centered organizations, particularly those in the nonprofit and low-income housing sectors, through audits, financial reporting, and compliance consulting.
He has led audits under a range of complex regulatory frameworks, including Uniform Guidance, HUD, the Massachusetts Uniform Financial Report (UFR), and various state-specific requirements. His experience includes work with real estate projects, commercial enterprises, and specialized audits such as SOC II and Yellow Book engagements.
Abe holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the American University in Cairo and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Boston. He is a licensed CPA and an active member of both the AICPA and MassCPAs. He also serves as treasurer on the board of a Massachusetts-based nonprofit organization.
